After a few days of frigid and icy weather, we were eager to get out into the sun and warmth today. These images are from our walk to Downtown Silver Spring. We went to Strosnider's Burgerfi, and Safeway. It wasn't easy, and I had wet feet when I got home, but we did it. It was better on the way back, as the melt is in full swing. Still, there are lots of places with plowed snow piles and puddles that are going to freeze into ice if not removed by Monday night.
