Sligo Avenue between Fenton and Georgia was effectively closed for pedestrians. Work being done on one side, cars at auto shops parked over the sidewalk on the other side. No attempt of effort made to accommodate pedestrians other than to trot out this same-old dented and dusty sidewalk closed sign.
I am struck by the great number of toppled, irrelevant roadwork sign littered all over Silver Spring. Surely, it must be unwise to plant rogue signs all over. It must make the "Good" sign all that much more difficult to discern.
